Every single time, before flying, I'd insert the battery ensuring it was all the way in and then gently pull back a little to make sure. I had 5 batteries. Over 50 flights. No issues. Maybe I'm lucky! (Thankfully)

Personally I'm making do with a Mavic, as I've sold my Phantom 4, due to the smaller size. I'd love a phantom 5 but the ideal drone would be a new mavic with the same (or better) camera than the phantom 4. The p4 video quality is excellent and I don't really require anything better (for now).

I reset my iPad 4 to factory, created a new account and only installed the DJI app. Same result so tests might vary. I know that Android can run a million things at once so a reset might (as it has above) but the iPad range keeps things a little tidier. Either way the iPad 4 once worked...

I changed from the iPad mini 4, due to issues after updating the app, to the latest 2018 ipad and regretted it. Try NOT to get that model as there's no glare coating (apple saving cash) and possibly consider the 1st Gen iPad pro.

This started happening to my iPad mini 4 and, after the next DJI update, the artefacts started appearing. It's either a carefully planned method of getting people to update their iPads or the DJI Go app is a bag of awful coding. I changed to an iPad pro (1st gen) and now have no issues.

Mine seems quieter initially but once in the air I've no idea as it's in the air. Not noticed any difference in the handling but have only had three flights with the new props.

P.s. I actually thought that my Phantom 4 was quieter with them.

iOS 12 is supposedly faster than previous releases so waiting until August might provide a solution. Maybe. Heck even DJI might release a new app update etc. You never know.

I had to give up on the mini 4 as the new ipad (2018) fixed any issues. I wish that DJI would code properly.

As above you should, possibly, get a black box appear in the middle of the screen and, eventually, an option to tick that removes the screen.

Replaced the glitch/green screen ipad mini 4 for a 2018 ipad and... it now works perfectly fine. I swear that the ipad 4 has been absolutely PERFECT until two updates ago. High cpu and then after the last update, green screen and black lines. Other than that the mini 4 works perfectly fine...

DAMMIT! Now that's a pretty poor show. Tried a different cable today but still the same (But a little better as I'd cleared every cache known to man). Time to order an iPad pro and it's a shame as the Mini was a perfect fit for the Phantom case at the top. :( It's almost like it's been planned.
