I use a Velcro strap (Home Depot) around the legs. Secure the MP transceiver with some additional Velcro and/or a plastic tie. Shown here on my P3P, works the same on my P4. I keep the antenna roughly centers between the legs to minimize chance of interference with the quad's leg electronics.
A method that works well for me is to use the POI (point of interest) capability. Point the camera out rather than in and adjust the gimbal to take in the appropriate view. Experiment with speed and radius to get the effect you like. Results in a very smooth video pan motion.
I recently replaced a Garmin unit with a TK102. As long as attached to the bottom of the shell, neither has caused any interference. The tracker does slightly shift the quad's balance. In flight the motors compensate for this but it can make landing in windy conditions a little more difficult.
