Had the same problem. Failed every time. Tried using an android device instead for the update - worked on the first try. So if you've got access to an android phone ir tablet, try installing the Go-app on it. Should work :)

Well. I remember reading somewhere that a guy had luck using an android device to update, instead of an apple device. Tried my shitty Sony phone. Update went without any problems. iPad was impossible to use for the update. So - all is good :D

On my second P4 now (I recieved the previous one with ESC-fault). The update is still a f***in pain in the ***! Fails every time. Following every step in these instructions. Using a brand new iPad mini 4. I guess I'll try the Assistant 2 again. This is such complete ********. DJI better step up...

I also struggeled with the update. Try using the DJI Assistant 2 (on a PC or Mac). After about 20 tries, it worked for me.. There's something seriously wrong with these updates, and I hope DJI is doing something to solve these issues. I had to send my P4 back to my dealer, without even beeing...
