I recently upgraded to an inspire for all my aerial photography jobs so now I want to "convert" my P2V into a fun little speed demon to play around with.
I was under the impression that I could simply adjust the angular tilt of the bird so that it simply goes much faster. However, after reading...
Ok....I went ahead and upgraded all 4 batteries to the latest update as well as the 3.08 on the pv2.
I charged up battery #1 to 100% and took it out for a test flight. All works well until I decide to "punch" it in the air and then thats when the warning appears on the screen (see attached...
I have the exact same issue. I THINK it could have something to do with the fact that I rarely have ever drained my batteries. So I just went ahead and drained all 4 to less than 5% and will charge up and try to see if that solves the problem.
I went ahead and drained the batteries all to 5% and I am going to let them sit overnight and then charge up to 100% before I leave for vacation. Hopefully that does the trick.
Can anyone help me out here?
I have a stock Phantom Vision 2 (not +) and I've never had any battery issues until very recently. Note that I have 4 batteries in total.
Anyways, the issue I am having is when I am in the air and give it power to climb or move left or right, I get a battery...
Something is still very off. I had a successfully hour or so of flight. Then, as I was in my third battery change, the iphone screen started to scramble. The picture was very distorted and I couldn't see anything. I backed out of the camera and went back in. At that point I was presented with a...
I am going to go ahead and bump this thread. I too have the blacking out issue on the app. I've had my Vision 2 for months now and have never had any issues whatsoever. This appears to be an error with the app. I have complete control over the phantom (running GPS mode) but out of nowhere and...
Re: Another broken wifi repeater (my fault)
Sorry to resurrect this thread but I wanted to do a follow up.
After re-pairing my new repeater, I went out yesterday in high winds (huge field) and successfully flew over 1,000 ft (away) with clear wifi performance. It faded out closer to the 1,100...
Everything worked perfectly. I didn't realize it was that easy to fly indoors. The funny part is that I only lost signal when I got close to the sides of the coliseum. Other than that I had GPS the entire time. Amazing.
Watch one shot I got here (no frills)...
Ok - I think I understand... Basically I will just fly the P2V like normal and even in GPS mode the unit will automatically default to Attitude mode when there are no satellites. Hopefully I am correct there.
BTW: I have a huge coliseum to fly in. Shouldn't have any issue with getting too close...
Can anyone shed some light on the best way to fly a stock P2V indoors? I am in basic Vision mode (not NAZA) so I only have GPS mode from what I understand. Is it possible?
I will be flying inside of a huge building with NOBODY inside. So please, no posts about safety. I am only concerned about...
Re: Another broken wifi repeater (my fault)
I attempted re-soldering and made things way worse. Another piece fell off. These things are very fragile.
*if you are reading this and are thinking of modding, please REMOVE the board from the unit before drilling/fiddling inside.
I will do a test...
Hey peeps...
Just wanted to post my huge (first) fail tonight. And, like a broken record, I highly recommend being extremely cautious when fiddling around inside of the repeater. I'll explain.
I had made an 8dbi antenna mod before I even really knew how to fly. It was an easy mod and was told...
