I had the same problem once I added the hero 4, although I never needed to balance. I reduced all my gains by 20-40% and the vibration went away. I would start by reducing all your gains by 20% and reduce more from there if needed.

It is the v1.1... sounds like a reasonable guess. I'll try massaging it and see if it comes back in at all.

So out of nowhere my gimbal no longer powers the gopro and the video that is being transmitted to my fpv monitor is black and white and very flickery. I believe that it is all related to some electrical issue within the gimbal. If I don't turn the camera on, the telemetry data is transmitted...

My props are balanced, so it's not that. I lowered all my gains by 20% and it appeared to be quite a bit better. I'm going to try lowering them a little more when I get a chance and hopefully that will clean it all the way up. Thanks for all the suggestions.

So I'm trying to downgrade my firmware, which I have to do on a PC because I can only find old versions of the firmware for PC. I normally work on a Mac and that's all my Phantom 2 has ever been connected to. When I tried to connect it to the PC with the older version of the Software assistant...

It is a recent addition, but to my knowledge you can no longer download older versions of the firmware.

Hypothetically speaking.... Is there any way to get a Phantom 2 with current firmware to fly, within 3 miles of an airport that is listed on the no-fly zone?

In regards to the ribbon cable, it would seem unlikely that they can do away with that due to the fact that the Hero 4 does not output video from the rear port, like the previous models did. It's hard to see how else they could do it, but it would be nice.

It looked to me like the plane was flown into the bush on purpose, with the friend there to add a little hysterics and try to create an out of control scene. It definitely looks like the friend is doing a bit of acting, rather than actually trying to catch the thing.
