So that was my theory @jason and @uncleremus. But I recall many months ago (without making any changes in the software), I was able to fly in ATTI or GPS by simplying flicking S1. Was there something in the updates that made me flip to Phantom? I usually do a full calibration every few weeks...

Gents, Recently noticed that when I switch S2 from position 1 (GPS) to position 2 (presumably ATTI), nothing happens. I dont get slow yellow and the P2 doesnt act as if its in ATTI by floating/drifting. It should be noted I had a crash a little while back. In short... the P2 does not switch...

Hey Gents, Just a general discussion point here... Is everyone diving right into the P3 or waiting for a potentially bug-fixed 2.0 version similar to the P2. I do realize this is more of a preference thing but didnt know if anyone thought it would be best practice to wait a few extra months...

Visually inspected and I did not see any cracks on any boards inside the quad. All connections look secure as well.

Any idea how to tell if the antenna is damaged? The GPS was easy because you could see a crack right through it

I have done that. I just did it again to be sure. The Compass(raw) shows around 1400 before and after calibration which i believe is high. I still find it odd that it takes a good 60-90 seconds to connect to GPS (green flash) when it used to be only a matter of seconds.

Jason, I get that. But what I am saying is that I can set the Home Point fine, it goes into GPS mode (green) and then when I switch S2, it will NOT switch into ATTI mode.
