Thanks for that. I will replace the ribbon first which is on its way from the States, but I suspect you are right that it is the motor or sensor. I believe I cannot buy the motor itself but will have to replace the whole gimbal unit and camera. Is that your understanding too?

Hi. I have just joined from Zimbabwe! I have the same problem that Keith Bickley was experiencing. A buzzing sound from gimbal motors and obstruction error report on iPhone. have a feeling it might be the top gimbal motor causing the issue but would be keen to hear how Keith sorted it out...
