I have been trying to get the GPS signal in large open field, S1 switch is on GPS mode, and I have waited for up to 5 minutes with no changes. I talked with someone at Dronefly who suggested I fly it up a little ways to see if it is able to connect then. Still not sure what to do at this point.
So I have calibrated my compass and these values look good in the assistant software as well as the gyroscope and accelerometer values but when trying to start to fly in GPS mode it will only give me a slow blinking yellow light. Am I missing something simple to allow the GPS to work?? Any ideas?
I am having this same problem with the phantom 2. Just opened out of the box. Installed phantom 2 assistant and driver. Able to perform compass calibration but when starting up the phantom it is blinking yellow slowly. It is on the GPS mode. Gyroscope, acceleration, and compass data look...
I set my gimbal today and once powered on it only points downward. I tried going into the phantom assistant software and turned on the gimbal control tilt switch think that this might help to bring it to level but made no change. Any ideas??
So I was able to turn on the IOC when clicking on the phantom button in the upper right hand corner but once I did this the phantom was blinking green, red, red, red. I turned off the IOC and clicked back on phantom and this blinking went away. Any ideas?
