In plain English please...the difference between atti and P modes

Sometimes I want to know what the wind speed is at the drone location. Using ATTi mode and letting it drift for 10-20 seconds will show the drone speed near the bottom, which is the speed as which the wind is blowing it. At times that can be very useful.

    How far/high have you been

Very true, rules differ greatly by country and area. We are fortunate here in the USA to have the rules and guidelines we currently have. If we has pilots stay within those, they are more likely to continue as is. There are already some congressional bureaucrats who want to change all of...

Buying Phantom 4? (Newbie plz help)

I started with a P3S and then moved to the P4. So far things have gone well with both. The P4 is still being updated so DJI has not dropped it from future changes. The addition of collision avoidance features is a REAL plus. The same is true of extended flight range compared to the P3S. I...

    High Velocity Wind Warnings

It just seems one more thing DJI got less than right with the firmware update. I see it frequently, even in calm conditions.

    Drone Eclipse?

Yes, you can damage it. You need a solar filter in general for this.

    Drone Eclipse?

B&H Photo and Amazon have many. They range from about $30 to $200. Solar filters is not my area of expertise. Some references say to focus on ND 100000, others less.
