FAA controls all controlled airspace, the city would have got together with the AMA or other group associated with the FAA to fly.
We are talking about recreational flying areas.
Until the FAA gets it together and we can take the test and contact LAANC.
We are stuck at AMA sites with very little if anything to photograph.

The flying field is most busiest on weekends, the heat I was told is an issue, so I lot of people go late afternoon when it's cooler out.

Some people think it is a waste of time to call the FSDO,. (Quote "it's not uncommon to get incorrect/vague information").
