    p4 H264 Editing a nightmare with Premiere CC 2018

Use proxys, that will eliminate all the stuttering while editing. Do a google search on using proxies with adobe premiere pro cc on how to set it up. It does work very well.

Interesting read I found about Dji

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I found it interesting. I found this in a Russian forum. On Friday, the DJI leadership received a complaint from the US Army. The US Army stops using DJI drones due to problems with cybersecurity. Army units were ordered to remove batteries and...

!! UPDATE !! Is anyone else having multiple problems with the latest DJI GO 4 update ??

Without knowing what you are using, it's hard to tell. What drone (sorry if I missed that), what firmware, what version of Go4 and Litchi, any mods to your equipment? What type of environment are you in (city, dense neighborhood, farmlands, lots of tall trees). Do you have any obstacles between...

!! UPDATE !! Is anyone else having multiple problems with the latest DJI GO 4 update ??

It's not that hard. A little research can give you instructions how to do it or I can help.

!! UPDATE !! Is anyone else having multiple problems with the latest DJI GO 4 update ??

I bought my P4 and everything in it. I re wrote the firmware parameters to my liking, blocked the dji servers from the app, now I have a drone that I own. I can fly as high and wherever i want and as fast as i want without Dji telling me i cant. Just because i can!

Dji will stick it up your @55 everytime. They are a big corporation. The profits out weigh the complaints so in their eys they are doing great. Covering warranty issues reduces profit margin, so lets teach our employees how to get out of honoring the warranty.

In your camera settings, sounds like you have it set to HDR. That takes a while to process between pictures. HDR takes multiple pictures and then combines them for better quality. Change it to the first setting which is single shot. That should be fairly quick.

See your signal shadows with Google Earth

The bottom 2 pictures show my controller location at the end of the red line. First bottom picture shows shadows when the drone is at 350m and the second is at 150m. Big difference in shadows and the only thing I changed was altitude of my pushpin.

Now, how can we build a signal repeater for the control and video? ;-)

See your signal shadows with Google Earth

Look at my photos above. They are showing exactly what you are wanting to do. One picture shows a high altitude and the shadows from that height, and another picture shows a lower altitude and how much the shadows change at a lower height.

When you place your pin or placemark, in the properties you can set the elevation of that pushpin in the settings for it. Go to the altitude tab, change the drop down menu to "relative to ground" then set the altitude you want your pushpin to be at. Now you can see from that point and it's set...

See your signal shadows with Google Earth

Just an update, after further testing I am finding that it doesn't shadow tall buildings when you are next to one at a low altitude, say about 10 feet. Not sure if it works at distances or higher elevations though. So far, all I see is elevation shadows, eg. hills, mountains. I will update as I...

See your signal shadows with Google Earth

I placed my drone 1.7 miles away from where I will be controlling it on the map at 350m altitude, shown in first picture. The first picture shows my point of view from the drone to the control point as referenced by the red line. The second shows my signal coverage from the drone in viewshed...

See your signal shadows with Google Earth

Make believe you are a transmitting antenna. Now, you want to be able to know how many signal shadows are in your coverage area, how big they are, etc. from your place of installation. If you were an antenna installed on a radio tower at a certain location say at 100' in elevation above the...

See your signal shadows with Google Earth

No, I mean "show viewshed" under the edit menu. This only works after you place a pin, or marker at a certain place and height to get a point of view from that point.
