    New Prop's = Jello.

Since it is most likely a hardware problem, start by balancing your propellers. Balance propellers: http://youtu.be/kvZGA6dJQJs?t=1h15m25s Using the Du-Bro 499 Tru-Spin Prop Balancer and a balancing rod: http://www.killerrc.com/product/phantom ... ncing-rod/ Jello: Hardware problem Micro...

Project MotorPixie - Open Source 2-axis gimbal for P2V

Sounds great - looking forward to see some pictures and footage of the finished product :-) When you start looking at the 3D version, consider getting a Storm32 3D controller. They are open source, 32 bit, and dirt cheap :-)

    Rotorpixel gimbal for Phantom Vision

You print the enclosure from Thingiverse and follow the instructional video to assemble it :-) http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:449780 http://youtu.be/u_kZF2oijIM

    Rotorpixel gimbal for Phantom Vision

The p2V controller is 5.8 ghz, the f200 is 2.4ghz. Gopro wifi will not interfere with P2V remote/receiver [tested] For true FPV, use external 2.4ghz FPV equipment on the P2V.

    After market Gimbal advice please

There are 4 flavors: * Basecamelectronics SimpleBGC controller: 8-bit/32-bit. Expensive or extremely expensive and closed source. Good GUI. Support. * Simple BGC clones: "Pirated" versions of the 8-bit 2.2.B2 version of Basecamelectronics controller. Good GUI (Basecam) * Martinez boards: 8 bit...

How many drones do you have?

I have ONE P2V. To use my gimbal, I plan on flying it again once the bugs are worked out (flyaway, battery issues, early landing). Hopefully soon - probably never. I am looking into never buying a DJI product again. That includes SMART batteries that fail when force upgraded... - But I am...

FAA officially calls us "operators" --- NOT "pilots"

Didn't even bother to read all the posts. Life is too short. Let's compromise: GPS mode = drone observer Atti mode = drone operator Manual mode = drone pilot

Project MotorPixie - Open Source 2-axis gimbal for P2V

Apperently various versions of the MotorPixie gimbal can now be found on eBay (3D printed parts only). Just to be clear: I have nothing to do with these sellers and receive no royalties etc. from the selling of the parts. Example...

Project MotorPixie - Open Source 2-axis gimbal for P2V

Although only 8 bit it is a great and light weight controller. Some have issues with it coming with a "pirated" bootloader. From basecamelectronics that is not upgradable (2.2b2) meanwhile Basecamelectronics have stopped supporting their own 8 bit boards (which run in the RotorPixel as well) so...

Project MotorPixie - Open Source 2-axis gimbal for P2V

Hi Karl, the final build is rock solid in my opinion. Consider using the STORM 32bit controller http://www.ebay.com/itm/Storm32-BGC-32Bit-3-Axis-Brushless-Gimbal-Controller-V1-31-DRV8313-Motor-Driver-/361138803152 for the build. Higher learning curve, open source software. If you experience...

How many drones do you have?

3: A P2V that is collecting dust in its box. A RCExplorer Tricopter V3 as a super stable camera platform A RCExplorer tricopter V3 homebuild mini variant (295mm wheelbase) that is simply too much fun to fly with. That one is going to be my FPV racer some day :-)

Project MotorPixie - Open Source 2-axis gimbal for P2V

The gimbal takes the same input as the stock camera. Whatever you use to control the stock camera with will also work on the gimbal - provided you did the wiring right.
