Well with my last phantom I couldn't go higher than maybe 100 feet before losing signal, I did indeed update the firmware and was able to get to right at 400 ft before I started getting warnings. Much improved for sure! Sent from my iPhone using PhantomPilots

I just got a new PS3 today and I've read that one of the firmware updates dramatically decreased the range at which we could fly. I noticed since then another update had come out. Did this fix the problem or create more? My drone has pending updates and I don't want to update into a problem...

I've flown in 2 different areas and getting the same results no matter where. Getting my flight logs now to see what I can figure out. Controller has not been dropped and I've messed with the direction of the antenna to no avail.
