I have had a very good experience with the DJI Repair shop. Go to the DJI website and check it out. You can send the crashed drone there at no charge, and they will give you a free estimate to repair/replace it.

Set the camera to manual focus, and set focus to infinity. That should put everything into focus all of the time.

I recommend DJI's GSP app as well, to control the drone. GSP has never had a focus issue, or a gimbal issue. I use WebODM to create unlimited maps for free (after a $50 donation to download). Additionally, DRONE-HACKS.COM and $40 will keep you flying without asking permission from China.

If you buy a used Phantom, check out the batteries and how many times they have been re-charged. If the batteries show swelling, or are difficult to remove from the aircraft after flying, don't ever re-use them. A swollen P4P battery is just on the verge of frying the internal drone battery...
