There is alot of CA in the image too. Maybe this could be contributing to the color cast. Have you tried shooting with an ND filter or even a UV filter? I shoot with Lee Filters on my DSLR. Insanely expensive but they give off a purplish cast that I have to fix in post. Just a thought.
Dye your own props. Easy to do. RIT dye (for synthetic textiles). Boil the water, pour in the dye, drop in the props, continue to stir and turn the props until they are the color you want. Let, dry. Then fly. Easy peasy.
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A great and informative thread. I currently live in Finland. I am waiting for the snow so that I can get some snow covered lakes and hills and the frozen sea. Luckily my insurance will cover, fly aways, crashes, etc... so flying in the winter is not an issue for me really. I...
Agreed. The P4 and camera are what they are. They are not pro level by any stretch of the imagination, while many in this group and in others dont really understand this. The P4 is very good for what it does in the daylight, but at night it is simply not up to the task. If I were to invest more...
That makes sense. I see here often that people wonder why they can not achieve hi-quality images or videos. It's quite simple. The P4 is not a hi-quality drone in that regard. The Inspire RAW which allows you to change MFT lenses is made for higher quality. The P4 is a consumer level device with...
Is GoPro using a Sony Exmor sensor? If not, then they are the same. As for distortion, the wider you go, the more distortion you will get. Pretty simple to understand, well that is unless you use a Zeiss Distagon for about $2300. The sensors and lenses on the P4 are consumer lenses and unless...
Fair enough. If the IMU takes a few seconds longer then it does. There are a lot more serious things in the world than an IMU that takes a bit longer to warm up. I do not even notice. When I turn on my P4 and connect it to the controller, I start doing other things rather than sit there with a...
Are you really whining about how long it takes to warm up the IMU. Ah to have first world problems. So what if it takes a bit longer or maybe in your mind it does. Does it warm up and fly? If so, mission accomplished. You realize that this is a P4 and not a Predator drone right? It's like you're...
You people do realize that this is a $1000 drone and not a $1 million dollar Predator drone right? This is the best technology you're going to get in a consumer product. Unless the drone is in danger of actually crashing into the ground this seems like nothing more than a complaint manufacturing...
