In my limited experience I have found out gimbals like to have the battery in the gopro as it seems the gimbal is calibrated to allow for the complete weight of the camera. For me it's a shame that the Zenmuse gimbal can't use some of the gopro power as it (the gimbal) has significantly reduced...
Nice one, love the edit too. This gives me inspiration, I have the footage but your edit has shown me some good ideas of how to put it together.
Liked on youtube as well

What sort of flight time are we getting with the Zenmuse gimbal fitted. I have noticed a significant and sadly terrible drop of in flight time since fitting the Zenmuse. Went to do some filming on Friday, took 3 batteries with me expecting to get between 25-30mins flight out of the 3. First...
Don't know if this will be any use to you but your story sounds horribly familiar. I was having some problems with installation of the zenmuse. When I got it all sorted it had been plugged into the pc for a while, and I noticed when I picked it up the compass was very hot. I was told by Audaciter...
I have nothing to do with DJI but can't sell their new Zenmuse hard enough. I have tried a few gimbals, and for video in my opinion you have to go brushless. The new Zenmuse is amazing, I am so stunned at the stability. With the right settings on the GoPro it's like hollywood. The only sad thing...
No Worries, din't mean you were implying that, just I live on a small Island where getting replacement parts can take weeks. I'm kinda want it yesterday sort of guy so this actually seemed the least excessive and quickest way to get things sorted. Very excited to play with the new gimbal. Anyway...
I was building a storm drone, then killed it before had a chance to install naza.
Anyway luckily I'm educated and can read so went ahead with planned mods.
All good, gps + mount fitted, gimbal installed and correct measurements installed using assistant. Long story short perfect flight.
Which...

Thanks, luckily I have a new naza sitting in a box with gps so will try and figure out a mount and install it at the back of the craft maybe get the pmu outside as well. Hopefully only a small hole cut in back of craft
Thanks all, quite right when upgrading it put it on to quad I instead of X an easy thing to have missed. This did solve the flight error but somewhere along the way the compass I think has overheated as I felt it hot enough to almost burn me and now nothing registers in the assistant on the...
