Hi guys,
Sorry if someone else has linked to this, but I searched for the URL here and didn't find it. I saw this in another forum, and had to show it to you.
I don't want to be politically incorrect, but Merry Christmas to all!

Whoa! I sandbag a lot on here, and don't say much about anything... but this is worth a comment! Crazy stuff going on here. I wonder if there is any way to enhance these videos. This is a thread I'll keep watching. Hope we get an answer. Great stuff!
Actually, green lasers are typically visible in clear air in a well lit room.
Mounting a laser of any color on a phantom is a REALLY BAD idea. In the US, the FDA and FAA will be interested in what you're doing with it.
Leave the airborne lasers to the military.

Load your quadcopter up with a drape, and use channel 7 to release it once it is positoned over the offending bulb. That should take the sting out of that terawatt bulb :-)
Anyone know a way to get through the comments on the above article more efficiently than one page at a time? I have had to page through them 4 times, probably 20 or more pages each time because the page reloads each time I put the ipad down for a few minutes... Grrrr
Not to be a wise guy, but after getting it drained down low in flight, couldn't you just land, take the props off, and then fire up the motors without the props until it's down to 0? No chance of crashing when the battery turns off then.
I reckon that catching your quad is not nearly as dangerous as driving your car, and in 32 years of driving, I've never been hurt in my car. But thats just me. Perhaps if you think that it's inevitable that you will be hurt landing in this fashion, you're not careful enough in your technique.
I agree with Damon. After my first couple of flights, ALL of my return flights end with a hand catch. Safe and secure if done properly. Not showing off at all.
Yep, you just need a transmitter, a receiver, a cable or two, and a monitor (or goggles) to get it setup. A set of upgraded antennas would also help your fpv experience.
I got my kit from readymaderc.com.
