DJI didn't include a GoPro mount on the Inspire 1 for a reason, they want the camera end of the business as well. They recently purchased a camera manufacturer. This will leave GoPro out in the cold so to stay relevant, they too or going it alone by designing their own drone. Like telephone...

I should add, stories of cool technology (that's been around for years) doesn't sell papers. It's not sexy enough, it doesn't scare enough people. The media has to scare people and generate anger, just like in Fergison, to stay in business.

It's going to be incorporated into the Inspire 1. I'm pretty sure I'll be upgrading soon. Couldn't agree with you more. Sure, people will always find a bad use for technological advancements, but with a battery life of 10-20 minutes, you won't be "stalking" someone for very long with this...

I'd hate to see his WHITE phantom go down in all that WHITE powder. Good luck finding it! This is an excellent use of what our birds can do, but beware, those conditions didn't look good for flying. According to DJI, you should never fly in sub-freezing temperatures.
