any updates on this happened again today... starting to think it maybe a battery issue or wifi phone interferance I just did a firmware update... it seemed to fly a less stable after maybe wind related flew for about 10 min no problems all over the place. then lowered it down to about house...

I agree i think it will only turn off if it knows its on the ground. When you land the motor only slowly spin then it takes about 5 seconds of holding down and motors turn off..

Ours hovers fine with gimabal never had any issue. But good to know for the future thanks. I also did all the calibration. I think that may have helped.

We never had the wifi on the gopro, we knew about that issue. All I can think of is some other signal interference. Someone else said make sure to turn your phones off when flying.

Re calibrated everything rc and phantom got 4 good flight without a problem. Its did go down once but i think my friend was just descending to fast and he never lost control went right back up. Watching your descend speed and keeping movement while descending I think maybe helping too.

That makes sense. Do you know where in assistant software that would be located. I haven't seen it will have to check.

checked the firmware. it 3.04. everything is up to date. re calibrated the phantom and the rc. Got 2 batt of flights with no problem so far. Kept an eye on descending speed and lateral movement. We will see what happens...

just the oem ones that come with it. we have 3. naza v2 maybe an upgrade for future but we just spent alot of money on the drone don't want to have to spend anymore. we have barley used it just got it 4 weeks ago. thanks for your help

We have 3 diffrent batteries so i don't think its them. I am starting to consider the smart battery system. Someone said maybe the auto land system. We just spent alot of money on the drone package would hate to have to spend more on the flight controller we just got it and only flew it 10...

Yes it more controlled decent goes down rapidly but smooth straight props still spinning. Usually drop on its feet maybe bounces couple time and you regain control and back up. Last time it happened. Not sure which firmware it is will have check. It should be recent since we just got it 4 weeks ago and the company set it up. Not sure if there are other controls when it descends but up does not work. As far as i remember the indicator lights are green.I never saw anything out of the...
