OK. Then try and explain that to your wife. "Your dad wanted to fly my drone but I told him no way dude!"
Like the ad says: "New drone .... maybe $1000.00.
New father-in-law ..... more than $1000.00
New wife ......................PRICELESS.
WOW! is all I can say. A few months ago I went to a lake and tried to video my son's Pontoon boat. It only goes about 25 mph and I just had the roughest time trying to keep it in view. Wish I could do something like that. VERY ENJOYABLE to watch and very nicely shot!
"The Bitterness of Poor Quality remains Long after the Sweetness of Low Price is Forgotten."
That saying (above) has been a lifelong popular motto for me. It doesn't apply in an EXACT manner to the P3 as the "quality" is so similar between models. But in my 68 years of experience, I just don't...
If you don't like what you see in this forum you don't need to be here. Actually you can start your own forum. Then if something is posted that you don't like you can just delete it. It's easy to get started. Just go to Facebook.com.
ABSOFRIGGINLUTELY! I should add though that the main reason I posted the story was not so much to tell the story, rather to relate how people (sheriff's dept. included) can see these things and what you might feel would be convincing evidence might not even occur to others. The entire time that...
Thanks for that but I really bought the drone for a hobby that I could have fun with at or near my home. I have no interest in driving far from home to fly over and video corn fields and such.
A few months ago I flew my P3 around the block where I live. A neighbor 2 blocks away came screaming up the block and tried to grab the controller from me. I called the cops as did he and the cops went to his place first to get his side of events. He told them I flew the drone down into his back...
BEST TIP I can suggest is to buy a tablet from a major chain store like WalMart, Best Buy or similar. Reason being that if there is ANYTHING you don't like about it you can return it. When I went tablet shopping I did tons of research but once I got the tablet I found out there were some...
I'm thinking that the release of a GoPro is great because they (GoPro) are HUGE promoters and millions of people already have cameras that will work with the new GoPros. So perhaps that could mean that there will be lots more drones flying out there and that could cause the general public to...
Likewise, I don't remember reading anything in any CAA material stating that it is illegal (when flying a drone) to remove all your clothes and run around with your controller screaming obscenities. Just the same, I don't think that's legal.
Yes, just as she hits the ball perhaps the crowd of onlookers could change the old golf shout of "GET IN THE HOLE" to something like "GET IN THE DRONE".

I really appreciate that. Thanks for taking the time to clarify it. It is always confusing to me because 90% of my flights have been from my driveway and usually have 17 satellites (+ or -) but sometimes I get message saying unable to fly GPS. In my back yard I get less satellites as it has...
