Thanks for all the replies. I'll open it up and check the connections. May order a new GPS unit to have in stock anyways. I did have a crash a while back (bent the camera & gimbel) so it may have been damaged.

Yeah really watch the GPS. Even in a light wind (5mph) losing GPS it then just goes with the wind so if you don't know the orientation it can be hard to gain control again. 7+ is good. Over 10mph I'm cautious about going out. Knowing gust speeds is important too. I wouldn't fly if gusts are...

If I'm going with an iPad mini should I get the newest one (3) or just get an older one (cheaper)? Anyone have experiences with new vs old iPad mini's or regular iPads?
