Re: Do you have a Lilliput 664 monitor? If so, which TX work
I was going to buy the 664 when the company brought out the new 329W that I bought in the end.
Using DJI's Tx and built-in Rx without issues.
Ahh, there's the keyword, locally. Now that makes sense. There are 100's of owners where the declination is +-10 degrees or more, of which I am one, who have no issues whatsoever.
In fact, I fly my drone with me wherever I go and have now flown it on 4 different continents without any problems.
Being an airline pilot makes me question the things you all say here.
How many phantoms do you think have been sold and how many complain? Of the 200 members on this forum there's less than a quarter that has compass issues.
Do the maths and you'll probably realise there's more finger trouble...
You tried quite hard but doesn't make sense. Track and bearing will always disagree here unless there is absolutely no wind. If what you say is like that which I doubt the drone will go forward and backwards and not in circles. I will start with big adjustments and become smaller and definitely...
There is no need to add or subtract declination so I doubt whether that is done.
Your explanation also explains that this has nothing to do with so-called TBE.
I'm a little bit at a loss here. What does the compass do and what does the GPS do when you're flying?
My logic tells me that the compass takes care of direction (when static) while the GPS takes care of it's location and direction in space when flying.
I don't understand what the declination...
Why would you want to set CL if you can't even see your machine. CL and HL are safety measures for out of sight flying. Check that the LED's blink 5 times when switching between Off and CL or between CL and HL then you'll know that the new heading and/or location is set.
Re: Llilliput 7" 664/W fvp monitor for my phantom 2 setup ??
Just received the latest model Lilliput 329DW monitor and looks awesome.

Has 31 channels with dual receivers...
No, you just remove the backplate and the little piece of steel that creates the ratchet effect. You'll see the backplate when radio is open, it's not on the ail/ele side.
Tilt is smooth enough and you can tilt really slow.
I've been using Futaba 14SG for years with my other planes and put a 7008sb rx in the P2. I get main and receiver power telemetry back to the radio with audible alarm and vibration when power goes low which I find is better than checking the...
