Flying A Yunecc in Arches National Park!

I have understood that the people who become members on this site do so because they are among the ones who take this flying seriously. It always amazes me to see members who blow off other members for complying with the law. It seems reminiscent of grade school when kids would accuse each other...

Flying Drone in and around Atlanta

Remember, you can not fly in any of the Corps of Engineers parks, Allatoona, Lanier, etc. or over any dams.

    I was Narked on....

Information? You fly, you should already be aware of regulations concerning drone flight restrictions. It is up to you to know this stuff, not to be surprised by them.

A mate was threatened by a stranger with a gun - In the UK.

I guess nobody bothered to ask: flying around million dollar properties? Yeah, no body would be concerned with that. Especially those property owners who might have armed security guards protecting their privacy

Finally had a chat with "authority."

Yep, it's always a hitch when the authorities catch you breaking the law and aren't all nice about it. You fly, it's your responsibility to know where you can legally fly. Instead of not being nice, he should have just cited you.

    I was Narked on....

Gotta admit, these types of post are always surprising to me. Some one who does something that is generally widely known to be illegal, whatever it may be. Then getting caught and going online to complain about others who reported them or those who cited them. Then going on to state how they...

Two citations: one for flying over the dam, the other for flying in a Corps area. Both illegal.

    Newly installed Litchi: "DISCONNECTED" What?!

I hope I'm not too late. I have this same exact problem with my Samsung Galaxy Tab and Litchi. Here is what cured my problem. Occam's Razor. The USB cable. I had bought a short one to use with the controller and it works fine with my S7 Edge. But not with the tablet. I replaced it with the USB...

    Gannett Bait drop

Now, that is a great idea. I kept thinking of some type of clip release, but a simple ring and stick to drop by reversing? Great idea.

Is the following an invasion of Privacy?

Many people still cling to an antiquated idea of "privacy". In reality, in todays world there really is no privacy. The pimply kid at the corner store can watch video of you in their store on their street. The bored traffic cam operators watch you in your cars, The friendly news helo taking...

    Propellers

Curious. Just can't quite visualize why the Coast Guard would need stealth capability whopty-copters.

Flying Drone in and around Atlanta

Interesting note: during my research prior to going there I found out that: Yosemite, Grand Canyon, and Yellowstone averages 3-4 million visitors each per year. Lake Allatoona averages 7-8 million.
