Tripltek is pricey. I used an iPad Mini 4 or 5 with my P4. You might be able to pick up a refurbished one from Apple that has a fresh battery. Not nearly as bright as the Tripltek but you can get a hood for it from Hoodman

Why am I constantly asked to sign in to see videos, when I'm already signed in?

I reflowed my controller 3x, it worked for a bit, then reverted. Finally sent it back to DJI, they sent me a new one for $99

If you're trying to repair the remote, DJI will give you a new one if you send it in for repair, $99. I messed around with mine reflowing that chip, worked for a while then reverted to not charging fully.

I’ve reflowed/heated the component several times, it didn’t last. I sent the controller back to DJI for repair, it was way out of warranty, they sent me a new one for $99. That was a few years ago, who knows if they still have any.

I haven't tried that adaptor, but tried others to no avail. I returned my iPad Mini 6 that used USB-C and bought a Mini 5 that uses lightning. If you search for iPad mini and P4p V1, you'll see a few threads on the subject.

The P4p is a great drone. Never let me down. You’d need to get an RID module to be FAA compliant. I know a lot of guys like the P4p for mapping. I also have an Air2s and haven’t touched the P4p since.
