I have the exact same problem, and can't find a way to display the value. Tried smaller fonts in windows, and different resolutions, but did not help... I am desperate, since my F550 is drifting and cant do a proper calibration without being able to see the mod value. :-(...

Had the squeling problem on my zenmuse. Sent it back to DJI hongkong and got it returned today after one month. Squealing is gone, not sure if motors have been replaced, and now the gimbal shuts off when in extreme positions, did not do that before as i recall. If out of normal area of movement...

Difference is the time you are out of normal area of operation. If less than a few seconds it will turn on again.

I have that to, think its by design, a security measure to avoid burning out the motors
