There's no need to recalibrate unless the app tells you it is required. It may actually do more harm than good because if you get it wrong - i.e., calibrate in the presence of an anomalous magnetic field, then your aircraft could do strange things or even go AWOL.

I bought the Polar Pro Cinema filters. Screwed one on and had a devil of a job to get it off again. Had to make a tool to grip it (impossible with fingers alone). And no, I didn't screw it up tightly in the first place...

Silica Gel - you can buy it 1Kg sacks. That's the most efficient method of drying stuff - put the drone in a sealed container (or plastic bag) with it and leave it a couple of days.

If you take out the landing gear there's a good chance of also taking out the gimbal.. Might be worth fitting a protector but you may have to work around the issues with the sensors the protector can cause. If you come down hard of course then no protector will help.

Flew my P4P with the new props for the first time today and yes, I could notice the difference is sound quality. The old props have more 'bite' with these having a dull or flat kind of sound. Looks like the screw head is wedging the hole open as it's tightened. Would need to look at the two closely (hole and underside of screw head) to be sure, but relieving the hole with a deburr would help - as would adding a thin fibre washer under the screw head. Oh, and don't over-tighten!

Well the NATS or Altitude Angel apps make it easy, and don't forget to check for up to date NOTAMs for the area you intend to fly. You can bet 'My drone didn't tell me I couldn't fly here' won't stand up in court :)

There are better - and more accurate - ways of determining where the boundaries of NFZs lie. It should not be in the drone's firmware, and we should not be relying on the Chinese interpretation/implementation of them, they make enough mistakes and errors elsewhere.

One problem is that these batteries will expand as they get hot so a really close-fitting slot could prove to be more of an issue. I would prefer a simple key-lock system, push battery in and turn key and it doesn't come out. pretty simple really. We don't need a rapid change over like swapping...

I would be extremely wary of buying a used battery. It might come from a crashed drone (for e.g.,) and the retaining clips are damaged. You just don't know unless it's from a friend you know. It may also have been left in fully discharged condition which wrecks LiPos. I have no idea what...
