    State Farm insurance

Mine: Florida, State Farm I have auto insurance which was required to get this policy . It's an add on policy just as you would have for expensive firearms or jewelry. Cost $75.00 per year / no deductible. Covers drone, controller and (1) battery against theft or any kind of loss (Flyaway) (...

    State Farm insurance

I also have the State Farm personal articles policy (PAP) for the drone but if I hadn't had auto insurance with them they would not have issued the articles policy. A friend called my agent and tried to get a policy without having a auto or homeowners policy and they refused him. Mine is also...

    Litchi App..Should I Get It?

You can download litchi to as many Android devices as you want with only one purchase. If you change platforms (Apple) then you would have to purchase a new down load. As for Litchi itself I've been using it nearly a year with over 200 flawless flights. I don't use DJGO for anything other than a...

    Litchi waypoint mission won't start/upload?

I'm following this post. I've been using litch for months with no problems. Now out of the blue it will not load the mission to the bird as has been described. I've re-installed the software with no luck. It will allow me to fly manually.

Difference Transmitting Power GL300B And GL300C

I have a question and it sounds like Oso can answer it? I have a P3A with a GL300C controller which had developed a problem. I've found a used GL300B for sale. Will the GL300B work just as well with my P3A? Or should I try and find the 300C? Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

    Litchi or any other app?

@MacCool. I think he's talking about using Google Earth to show the elevation (height) of the trees, buildings, light poles etc. At least that's what I use it for to plan my advance missions.

    Litchi or any other app?

Where does the mission hub provide elevation data?

    Litchi or any other app?

I've been using Litchi for about 6 months and love it, automated flights ROCK. My one piece of advise would be take great care when you are loading that pre-planned mission you don't accidently hit that device screen and ad a rogue waypoint. It's very easy to do in the bright sunlight working on...

Aftermarket P3 Batteries: Non DJI Brand

I bought an after market battery for my old P2 to save $10.00. After (5) flights it swelled up like a puffer fish and I was barely able to remove it from the drone. A totally different style battery I know but that experience was my last with after market batteries other than with my Go-Pro...

Just downloaded the Litchi app.... any advice?

Other have said it and I've read it a million times...CHECK THE MISSION CAREFULLY. I just had a major crash by not paying close attention, first crash in 18 months of flying. Somehow before or after the mission flight started I accidentally added a BAD Waypoint and didn't notice. The screens are...

    Lens cover removed

I just went through this, I tried gloves, rubber bands, small strips of duct tape, electrical tape. I tried the "light touch" no squeezing the lens. I didn't have a prop wrench but I was ready to use a sledge hammer, nothing worked. Finally I read somewhere to apply some light weight machine oil...

    Removing stock UV filter.

Update: Well apparently the light weight oil did the trick after letting it set a little longer. Used a rubber glove and it came off easily....go figure.

    Removing stock UV filter.

Thanks, I tried electrical tape, duct tape, rubber bands, hair dryer, a "touch of machine oil" on the seam and letting it soak a bit. I had my wife try it with her smaller hands. The only thing I haven't tried is the prop removing tool because I don't have one. I've watched 2 dozen utube videos...

    Removing stock UV filter.

I've spent DAYS trying all these various ideas, the thing won't come off. My solution: Send the new filters back and forget the whole thing.

I'm done with dji and possibly drones all together

Wow.... after reading (5) pages I'm glad this story had a "happy ending". Hats off to the amount of help offered in this forum.
