    B4U Fly App

Interesting and Hmm. Not a bad idea to give those guys something to do. Over on the fixed wing side us Corp guys use fltplan.com which has nothing really for UAS, maybe in the future. Question. How knowledgeable are the Flight Service guys to UAS ops?

DJI Care Refresh does NOT cover repairs, only replacement

So what if one has issues with one's bird. You only want repair. BUT willing to pay. Will they simply go ahead repair the bird? SECONDLY are there repair shops around the US that will do the repairs as well if we wanted to skip the DJI nonsense?

Well I get that. They may not limit it. For me my VLOS limit is about 700 meters or 2100 feet. For me not only am I doing this professionally (UAS) but the FAA can tie this to my other fixed wing licenses. I'd rather not chance everything. Now... That is me and my situation.

    Weak image transmission signal

John's procedure is working great for my P4P, with same issues. I am in a High Wifi Polluted airspace, lol. Never thought Id think of wifi pollution. ANYWAY, I did not know about this solution, I simply stumbled on it myself and viola here I see it suggested. Thought I was clever. tee hee...

    Waterfall dunk...

Sounds like you did your best. I wish I had help but just saying I feel for ya here. Always remember that even the bad stuff that happens is good, because we learn so much valuable information on what not to do the next time (obviously I know) BUT we also learn, what drove us to do something...

Finally flew out over 3 miles...

Yep. In Fixed wing ops we have to maintain 1,000 AGL over congested areas. LOL Reminds me of when I asked the FAA to define a congested area. THEY HAD AN ANSWER!! It was 3.2 people per acre. Keep in mind I might be off by a tenth since that was a long time ago. They told me how many...

weak image transmission signal & rc firmware

YES!!! That is correct. I think I have narrowed them though if I can tell DJI what "makes this work" or what "my work around is". My P4P is only a month old. I have no idea why it is doing this. It should not do this at all for the money we pay for these. Also there are many like this.

Bad live feed, choppy, green screens.

THANKS MAN! So it is like this for whoever. Image Transmission Settings Channel Mode: Custom Freq: 5.8G Channel: 16 Transmission Quality 6Mbps 16 is just one I picked. I noticed that the channels are RARELY unstable in 5.8! So I...

weak image transmission signal & rc firmware

Ya thanks so much. Those didn't help. HOWEVER I think I am on to a work around. So I am flying with my iPad in airplane mode. I cache maps FIRST. Secret Sauce is on ITS, or Image Transmission Settings are: Channel Mode: Custom Freq: 5.8G Channel: I have mine set to one channel and...

Thank you solyxius!! So I had actually seen this video trying to get some idea what to do. Everyone seems to be advising to run in Automatic. When you do that you have no control over the quality setting whether 10G or 2.4. So I thought hmm Why not just try a one channel 5.8 setting with a...

I guess people on this forum are so caught up in the bragging rights they don't realize that they admitted to overflying VLOS. Would not take and FAA Inspector much time at all to log on to this and other forums and simply go after those bragging and admitting violations of policy. AND by the...
