How do you do a factory reset on the RC?

Did you ever solve? I saw a post where someone went to the HERE app but I don't seem to have that on my controller that I can see? Since the last upgrade I do get a quick message at start up on the RC that a malt file is missing. But I have had no maps since I guy this thing.

Anyone know where I can get some FREE video for drone crashes? Preferably over the water. I am putting a presentation together and really don't feel like using my drone as a crash test dummy. I see them on youtube all the time but I cannot download them. Thanks!!

Yup, I had an external display plugged into my MacBook. I was not using it. In fact it was turned off but when I unplugged it I was able to see the pattern. Not sure why it made a difference but that is what did it for me

I also ran into problems, I have the plus model and apparently that is different than if you are using a mobile device. Tried to get DJI help a couple of times and they were useless. Even after sending them pictures and details they still came back with "the problem is your mobile device" super...

Where are you resetting to defaults? And are you talking about the p4p plus? I have never been able to get maps except china and that was two upgrades ago. When I updated through the assistant I did reset to factory settings.

Did all that and still do not get the "dots" on the screen. Full battery, factory reset and still nothing. even refreshed the firmware. Any other ideas??

I am in the USA and I bought about 4 months ago. If I turn on mainland china maps it shows me china maps I can download but nothing for the USA

I have a p4p plus and have tripod mode. I never got a message to upgrade at the end of may? What's up with that? It tells me I have the latest version. Maybe it is a Plus thing.... still works fine and yes I am logged in and connected to wifi

When I open it i see nothing but the home point and arrow. Do you have the plus?

I will give it a shot but I never see anything there except my home point and the drone arrow. And yes I am sitting by my router and have full wifi bars. No offense taken

I have trouble in tripod mode It keeps giving me collision warnings to the point it stops moving and I am in a completely open area
