My first drone mini movie, suggestions plz (VIDEO)

Sitting here in the frozen mid-Atlantic US with two feet of snow on the ground, all I can say is that your timing couldn't be worse! Beautiful scenery, like the titles, and the cameo at the end is a nice touch!

    Gimbal FREAKING Out

The gimbal started going nuts at some point during the update. (I left the room while it was going.) Could it have knocked itself out of whack? I had a small crash last flight - a tip over on the landing because I'm an idiot and didn't hand-catch it. But it appeared to be fine afterwards...

So it appears the axle is WAY out of alignment with the camera. Anyone have a video link showing how to realign that?

I've had more curious people approach me than anything else. Definitely check the Don't Fly Here maps, but...

    Run-in with Neighbor

Steveeds' advice is good. Fear is often based on the unknown, so education is the remedy. You can even offer to show her how your bird works.

    First Time Over Water

Sweet. Are there any settings on the Quad that you changed to fly over water? I've heard the 3's are finicky with the sensors, and that you should fly them in GPS only mode.

    Flying in/near Richmond VA

Agree. The schools are prefect for another couple of weeks. I've flown at Harry Daniel Park, near the airport, and stay pretty low (under 100'). Not my favorite place to fly, though. Great tip on the "do not fly here" map. Will check that out.
