Rules, laws, and regs apply only to those who will adhere to them. The ones flying dangerously, irresponsibly, or recklessly already know they're violating them. Adding more rules and restrictions won't stop them.

I can't give you specifics, but I set up my P4A on a 12 year old MacBook Pro running 10.11.6, and use a iPad mini running 13.4.1 with the controller. The MacBook has 8GB of RAM...the iPad has 128.

Check the camera settings. When I went from a P2V2 to my P4, (12MP vs 20), I didn't realize that I had so many more camera controls available. But they might not be set right for your shot.

You'd have to look at their analytics data to see, but set a minimum. And, yes, I suggest an agreement, setting both compensation and IP rights.

If you've already created the footage, then charge by the impression -- i.e. viewing. Put a time fence on their use, but retain rights to the content. Good luck.

The video connection is via wifi...so distance and extraneous noise can disturb the video signal. Also, the wifi transmit circuitry on the P2's has had problems, sometimes disappearing altogether. There are places to get the wifi module repaired/replaced if you need to. But as long as you can...

I use a P4 for my real estate work. It's all you could ask for. Just be aware that you need to pay attention to camera settings just like you do with your DSLR or mirrorless. It gives you great control, but you must know how to use it.

Consider a Mavic mini. Good distance, lots of flight time. Pretty cheap. Decent camera. No registration needed, depending on where you are.
