Phantom 3 Advanced Lightbridge not the same as Pro

That is what I have heard.

Phantom 3 Advanced Lightbridge not the same as Pro

Both the Pro and the Advanced have lightbridge, it's just that the Pro has a much higher quality bit rate at the same 720p resolution so it's going to look much better on those monitors. I don't follow your second question about the iPad, can you clarify?

Phantom 3 Advanced Lightbridge not the same as Pro

So, I did not take notes on how I did this but I do recall several things about the process. 1. The DJI Go application has a setting somewhere that will cache the live view from your flights and save it locally on the device. 2. Somewhere on the sharing/editing side of the application, I was...

    Dji phantom 3 and fpv

Don't do it if you have the Advanced model. It has a documented and observed lower quality live view bit rate such that the output when viewed on larger screens via HDMI (or goggles) will result in blurry over pixelated portions of the video. Multiple people have confirmed this. I have a full...

Phantom 3 Advanced Lightbridge not the same as Pro

I'll see what I can dig up tonight. I don't remember if I pulled the file from the application or if I grabbed the file off the iPad when it was connected to iTunes.

Phantom 3 Advanced Lightbridge not the same as Pro

Correct, for me I could not see pixelation when I used an iPhone 6, but when I installed the HDMI board I could see it when outdoors looking at grass, tress, etc. After two RMA's thinking my P3 was defective, someone posted the information about the reduced bit rate of the live feed and the fact...

Phantom 3 Advanced Lightbridge not the same as Pro

Hey, As Brent10 was saying, we are referring to pixelation of the live view (FPV feed) on the application or from the HDMI port. The recording I posted that you mentioned was from the iPad application cache AFTER it was transmitted via the lightbridge to the remote. My on board HD recording...

Phantom 3 Advanced Lightbridge not the same as Pro

I just do not think you are going to see this play out in real tests between Pro and Adv models in similar conditions....

Phantom 3 Advanced Lightbridge not the same as Pro

I do not think 2mbps will make the Advanced model fly further than the Pro at 4mbps. Here is my reasoning. The lightbridge protocol is *likely* able to handle transmission rates of at least 4mbps as long as the wireless link can support it. So if a Pro model is 1000ft away encoding at 4mbps...

    FAA's drone operator app

I was a Beta tester for this app. I checked it a couple of times to see if the locations I fly are in no-fly or restricted zones. Besides the small airports around my area there is nothing that flags my to not fly. I stopped using it as of late since I am not flying due to endless snow.

Phantom 3 Advanced Lightbridge not the same as Pro

I'm calling BS on this response. NO product specs (on DJI or at online stores) mentioned the reduced bit rate except for one obscure comparison page found by someone in response to my research into the problem. DJI tech support does not even understand this nor did they admit that was likely the...

Ipad Air 2 WITH COVER on holder device?

I got mine to fit but just barely. It wedges in at the full extension and the foam holds it in place. I'm using this one. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VWPMUHI?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00 It takes a little bit of effort to remove it. I prob should remove the foam on...

    Which Phantom?!

Don't forget that the Advanced has a lower bit rate live view that translates to a lower quality image on larger devices or HDMI out, so go with the Pro version to avoid this.

Since you don't need GPS to fly indoors

I can't seem to fly indoors in any mode without getting compass errors......
