I searched for "Mick" with the member search function and looked for comments from someone with "Mick" in their name. I don't see a "Mick" on the MavicPilots site. Does "Mick" have a different user name?
This is the comment in the description of the video you posted: "Published on Sep 29, 2016UPDATE!!! MAVIC REQUIRES A TAP TO FOCUS VS. THE PHANTOMS AUTOFOCUS. THIS EXPLAINS THE SOFTER IMAGE. I WAS USING THE DRONE IMPROPERLY. THIS IS MY MISTAKE NOT THE DRONE. CHECKOUT ONE OF MY MORE RECENT...
On durability, Austin, with FlightTest, answered a question in the comments of the FlightTest review with the following response :
"I can speak to a couple of those: (1) I crashed it in a pretty significant way... and it was fine except for some chipped props. I thought the props were plenty...
They probably will initially get better numbers for advertising dollars, but they risk alienating their current user base and losing those numbers in the long-run if users are having to make a decision as to which website they are going to log in to engage in discussion.
With the strategy of having a different website and membership for each product, you have to wonder what happens to this website if DJI doesn't release any new Phantoms in the future. Given that the DJI uses essentially the same methods of controlling their drones, and users have many of the...
If DJI wants to keep a "Phantom" line of drones, a P5 has to be coming soon since buyers have no compelling reason to choose the P4 over the Mavic. I'd like to see a P5 with a significantly better camera but a more portable design like the Mavic. Such a drone would then make the Inspire's less...
Probably not, since the member names don't just transfer to the new site. You have to create a user profile and password for the new forum. Although you could choose the same user name you have here if no one else has used it, it's a totally separate user profile on a separate site.
Hopefully they don't shut down the Mavic discussion forum before you get to complete your spreadsheet. The message at the top of the board says they're shutting it down. "Soon we'll be discontinuing the mavic discussions on PhantomPilots to redirect that traffic to MavicPilots.com."
Because it makes no sense to have to do a separate log-in and to have to re-enter all my profile information and profile picture. I think forum members should be able to log in once and browse and discuss the drone of their choosing. Are they going to delete all of the users' Mavic posting...
It seems silly that I would have to have a whole new profile/user name/password to discuss the Mavic Pro. I've got enough user IDs and profiles to keep track of. The real silly part of it is that I plan on keeping my Phantom 4 and will continue to discuss Phantom flight too. Operationally...
I think autofocus in this context means you tap on an object on the screen and the mavic will automatically focus to that point; but it won't refocus until you touch on the screen again. I don't think it means continuous autofocus, where the mavic would continuously focus to that point on the...
