to answer your question, NO, get to a better flying location, additional mods to bird are just that, learn to fly it to its potential and then play with mods, get a good location to fly first.

Got it, had that little nagging thought of the way the wires/leads go into the F/C box, yup put one for pitch in upside down, so all is well now, steady as a rock and all controls work well, back flying! ;)

Yes, simply transferred guts from one to new one, no motors or anything else removed. also ran up motors before assembly, all turn in right direction...

After a crash, total rebuild with new motherboard and shells, my quad now will flip over on start up when I try to lift off, props are on correctly and all flight checks are done prior to attempts, all lights are good and get green flashing light for sat lock, have checked IMU and is also good...

Ok, did multiple IMU calibrations, all come up with not needed info, did anyway, so good there, still have a somewhat twitchy flight when in GPS mode and hovering in one spot, when moving(flying around) no problems and motors sound fine, should I be concerned about something else?

New here, have a used Phantom 2 vision + that needed some work to it, ie 2 new motors and esc boards, after work was done and all soldered good, it now takes off and seems to twitch in GPS or hovering, 1 motor also seems to be somewhat "tighter" then the other 3 as it stops spinning sooner then...

would you happen to have a picture of these as they lead out from inside the quad to the legs? Or can you give me some help in finding a picture of same? Thanks

I thought those are for the wi-fi unit as they connect to it inside the quad? and other is the compass?

I too am a new member to the DJI Phantom 2 +, no gimble and camera also, got mine for $60.00 bucks from someone who had soldered a motor in wrong on the ecs board, all checked out now and waiting for weather to clear, would like other options also to camera/gimble choices too.
