Hey guys
so it finally happened after a year. I lost my P3P last week. It just went from all good to "aircraft disconnected" and I never heard back from it. went hiking up twice to the last known gps point but no luck. I suspect an electrical issue but am wondering if someone can help analize...
It is totally possible. Can't remember where it is exactly but it's in the settings in the app somewhere. I just had to turn mine off last week for a shoot
Inspired by this thread I've been messing around with little planet photos with my P3P and litchi. Living in the mountains presents some more challenges (get high enough to not chop off the peaks!) but some really interesting shots. Not particularly satisfied with either of these for aesthetic...
Having some issues with the gimbal holding the camera due to it's heavier weight and off-balance but gonna give it another go today and work on counter-balancing it and tuning the gimbal settings. Will report back!
The camera I am using right now is the 360FLY, it's awesome!

very interesting. thanks!
i did see how he mounted it but I think without a gimbal the sway would make for some pretty ugly video and/or make the viewer sick if using a VR rig.
I'm going to mount a two-axis gimbal like this one RCTIMER 2-Axis Brushless Gimbal For GoPro onto the P3P and remove...
thanks for the reply ... I think you misunderstood my question though. I wasn't asking about cameras, rather mounting of cameras and gimbals onto a Phantom 3 Professional
Hey guys,
I want to mount a 360/VR cam to my Phantom 3 Professional. I have a few ideas of how I could do it but have two questions
Is there an official carrying capacity for the P3P listed anywhere?
What are other people using to mount non-OEM gimbals and cameras to their Phantoms?
BH
I've already removed and replaced my camera several times for transport. My question is if, and how, are people attaching third party devices to the bird. Ie. can you buy a replacement plate to attach to the heli via those little annoying rubber pads, etc...
Has anyone experimented with attaching other devices, cameras, gadgets, what-have-you to the bottom of the phantom? I have a 360-degree camera I'd like to fly for example. What are people using, can you get a matching plate?
