I am having problems with ecs. Changed board resoldered motors. Everything works fine until I try to start motors. I have read the threads on these types of problems but have some questions: 1. Does the shielded copper on the ends of the motor wires need to be scraped before resoldering...

I had a similar problem and found out the battery was not making good contact. When I put it in I give it a little extra pop with the palm of my hand. It seemed to work for me. At first I thought my battery was bad. Just a thought.
