Looks like the new version of DJI Assistant 2 for the Phantom has been updated. Originally this only supported the new P4P 2.0 but now supports many others in the Phantom series.

There are always exceptions. I would guess most UAV pilots have no idea that registry even exist nor take the time to opt out. It would be a good first place to check to keep one from making a fool out of themselves. If they are there, they are legal. If they are not, keep digging for more info.

Mine showed up almost immediately. I was on that list before I actually received my certificate. Might have been because I was already on there as a private pilot... who knows.

I have tried 3 of them... they all did it. Ken Booth from DJI says it is a known issue and does not recommend sending them in. Likely to get the same thing back.... He keeps saying wait on the firmware fix.

GS Pro definitely does not work yet with the P4P 2.0. While DJI could have built it without using the SDK, it appears they did so and since the update for it was just released last week, we should see GS Pro updated soon.

I can confirm that v4.6 of the SDK is on the developer website and it does have code changes to include the Phantom 4 Pro V2. The P4P 2.0 is also listed on the SDK website as supported.
