I dont know the weight difference between the GP2 and the GP3, but as noted, I am running this gimbal straight out of the box with a GoPro Hero HD (not the 2 or 3, just the Hero HD) which I am sure weighs more that the 2 or 3.

theres a pair of wires in the phantom that are there for auxiliary power. They are red and gray....just connect those wires to the gimbals power wires which are red and black. Connect red to red and black to gray.

6.8oz without the camera. (Conversion is 192grams?? Seems high!) 10.25oz with my GoPro Hero HD

Sorry for the delayed response. It was a pain to get pics because I had to take my phantom apart to get the pics of the naza side of the connection. anyways, heres the pics. It only uses 3 of the 4 wires.

I basically used 3 of the 4 wires. in my case it was blue yellow and green. It was a trial and error. Connect the 3 in the same order on each end. One way doesnt work, the other does. PS - make sure you enable the gimbal in your NAZA software. I troubleshooted for like 30 minutes before i was...

This is straight out of the box. I assume these issues can be resolved with fine tuning it via the SimpleBGC app. Also, the jerking when it was full down was caused by the wires hitting the arm. I am going to see if I can reposition the wires to correct this.

I finally wired it up and took it for a spin today. This video is of it straight out of the box. It has full functioning tilt control with the v1.1.1 controller. its pretty stable except when i have it in the full down position, it attempts to reset itself (hence the camera tilt jerks)...

I havent had any flight time with it just yet. By the time I get home from work, its dark out (I HATE WINTER!) I will get some flight reviews and video footage up as soon as I can.

well, those were all my friends. We were all there for a memorial. Luckily I had been flying it throughout the day and no one was really paying attention to it at this point. Only a handful of people saw it bomb out of the sky.
