Check the B4uFly / AirMap.io. A ton of that area has a lot of controlled airspace, so you'd need to call the appropriate towers and airports.
Here's a quick look from airmap.io
I had this happen with my P3S, once the compass errors out, it goes into ATTI mode and there is no more RTH. I presume it's to stop a flyaway, so you can take full control and land it immediately. That one was my fault for calibrating compass next to my car.

Just hit 2,550 meters / 8366 ft today. That's the furthest I have pushed it to date. I did the FW update last night. That was clear LOS, but started in a residential area and flew into open hills. Never lost RC / Video, full bars.
From my understanding, their app doesn't use the built in Waypoint modes, because their app ensures the phantom maintains speed even with windspeed. Also the curves for flight paths are more accurate. It'll RTH when you lose signal. I personally like their zip line mode.

I tested this by not testing a power line, but with a horizontal rope of approximately the same size. It's hit or miss. I had a black climbing rope, and stretched out it recognized it sometimes when moving it closer to the camera. Chain link fences seem to be hit or miss too.

The word you're looking for is "Stereo Computer Vision" which is able to extract depth information from 2 (or sometimes more) cameras. It compares the same object from two views and calculates the...
No, that is right, it automatically will select channel and bitrate on its own according to what's necessary. The farthest I believe I have gone with 10Mbps was only 1000m, and that seemed about right. I started to get choppy video feed, so I turned it down to 4Mbps and went another 1000m...
