I have had these for some time, but with everything else on my phantom it is too heavy. Also will not fit in my case, along with the compass issue it makes it impossible for my current phantom. I think I will save it for my next phantom that will be pieced together out of all my extra parts...
If this is normal for the new gimbal to do this, why dont dji let us know? I worried I did something wrong, and spent alot of time trying to figure it out. Now I guess this is the way it's suppost to operate since several gimbals are doing it?
My replacement gimbal is doing the same thing. You have to pull the battery out and plug it back in to make it work again. This is stupid, paid alot of money for this thing, and nothing but problems.

If you end up drilling the screw out (been there), make sure you do not get metal shavings into the motor. I would keep the other motor screws in place so that the motor dont move, and keeps shavings out. The magnets will draw them in. I had to take my motor apart and clean it out.
After 8-10 flights total, everthing seems fine here.

Are you sure the propellers are all on right? They are directional. And if mixed up, you could have those issues.
I seen it on TMZ also, they were saying that if lots of company's started using them to do deliveries, they would be crashing everywhere. Lol
The next thing drones are going to need is a radar system to avoid eachother.
I do know that if it is powered off, it will log that that location and time. You can even have it send you a e-mail that it's been powered off. I dont know in a crash if power loss would be the same as powering off by the button.
