At the moment I have toy boy status but alas I will lose that at the end of May when I catch up the the lady who stole my heart some 43 years ago. That's enough of that.
Earlier this month I took my lady off to Blackpool for some rest and relaxation, while out for a drive we managed to get onto an area of the river Wyre estuary I ventured out for a walk leaving her indoors in the car some lads were launching their Jet Ski's noisy things them; soon they must have been a couple of miles away doing all sorts of tricks. I started to head back to the car when I saw this man doing a strange dance while holding a thing I had never seen before as I got closer I saw that it was in fact a drone thingy well being nosy by nature I moved closer and asked "what dance was that mate" he told me he was getting his drone ready to fly and the dance was just him calibrating his compass hmmm thought I I may write to ballroom dancing program and suggest that they might like to introduce this new dance, hmmm my mind baffles me. Anyway I was joined by her indoors now out of the car, and we watched as these by now two men sent their DJI Phantoms 2 and 3 up into the air one of them flew his down towards the coast and hovered over the jet skiers filming their antics soon afterwards they flew their drones together filming each other's drones. I was transfixed like a kid watching the older boys playing after what seemed like ages her indoors now outside spoke saying" you want one of those don't you." Not arf I spluttered she also knew how the bank balance stood I whipped out the I Phone and googled these DJI Phantom drones as my chin hit the floor her indoors spoke those words that cut me in two "ha too bloody dear ain't they." After a very quiet drive back to our hotel I started being even more nicer than I normally am, when we got back home a devious plan started to hatch, cups of tea were delivered up to the bed each morning I am a great creep I am, after a few days I checked our bank account and well let me tell you their is a GOD a nice big tax rebate landed, After more creeping washing of pots' boxes of chocolates and flowers I told you I was good at this creeping she finally relented. Today I placed an order for a DGI Phantom 3 standard figuring I can always upgrade when her indoors is looking the other way or will I have to do some more creeping.
Well that's how I came to join your forums my only problem now is the wait as it's good Friday tomorrow and Monday is also a bank holiday I doubt whether I will get it until Tuesday
