Very 'green' to quads, or even RC flight, for that matter. About a year ago I started getting interested in quads, & purchased a blade nano, then a blade 180QX to familiarize myself with the handling characteristics. Just recently jumped and bought a Phantom 3 Standard, (already wishing I had put up a little extra for the Adv or Pro, for more versatile camera.
I made my living for a few years as a photographer for a local TV station, so I do know some photography, (even hung out of a full-sized helicopter once to do some footage for a car dealer).
I have only been able to do a few "trial flights" so far, but the Litchi app is the next step.
I have been building models all my life. I love scratch-build models, and for the past 2-3 years I have been working on a scale Destroyer Escort from WWII. The model is over 10 feet long.
