Well I agree w/ the metal part as I tried to fly my P3S at my work place's warehouse area but due to the metal it would not takeoff due to safety but when I backed up it did then started to mess up when getting close again.

hmmm. not too sure then, mine had that issue then fixed when i connected as if I was going to fly, can you use the SD card instead?

Well I went to prince william county and nothing is near that, mainly go south and if north DC has a no-fly zone that's rather large and if you are near Quantico that's also an area.
