It's been a while since an update; had an uptest over the weekend with little if any success (flipped over on takeoff but no damage). The Pixhawk FC is definitely configurable. But with that flexibility comes complication. And you thought the Phantom compass dance was difficult...the Pixhawk...

That would appear to be the case.

Keep in mind however that your flight controller must support that on a hex. Not all do. I know the Pixhawk/Arducopter firmware does now from my reading. Which is why I'm likely to purchase a Pixhawk for the hex build I'm doing now.

I love the Core 2. Have had it for some time now and like it's interoperability with Dashware. I put mine in the Vision. It is a little tricky to thread the cable through the leg but works great.

I think here would be better. If I was going to use a Naza for it then maybe...but I'm intending on using a Pixhawk. Maybe I could buy some DJI props?... 8-)

Could be a huge amount of metal on the pier. That will play havoc with the Phantom compass for sure.

A blinking red/yellow bird in Phantom mode means the compass needs calibrating.
