You could always consider downgrading firmware back to previous setup. Maybe worth a try.

Sorry, I haven't flown at that location before so I couldn't say but I am happy with the result anyway. I thought it would be a good location to test range as wanted somewhere with a decent long range line of sight although I think some interference did cut it short in the end, possibly not...
