    Low noise props

If you find this irrelevant, please disregard. For over a year I've been using Master Airscrew custom props on both my P3P and my P4P. They were a bit of a pain to install on the P4P because you have to unscrew the piece on top of each motor that locks in the standard DJI prop. However...

Cheap fix for preventing batteries falling out.

Rocky: now there's something you don't see every day. Bullwinkle: you mean a battery dislodging from a P4P? Rocky: no, I mean someone using DJI and recall in the same sentence.

    Told to stop flying!

As ArmyVet and RussOnTheRoad have said, national forests are not the same as national parks. National Parks are managed by the National Park Service, which is under the Dept of the Interior. National Forests are managed by the US Forestry Service, which is under the Dept of Agriculture. In...

    Told to stop flying!

I think you're fighting a losing battle. No offense intended. I'd prefer a different word also but I think it's been cooked into the cake by now to the point that a lot of people think of a Phantom when they hear the word drone.

    Told to stop flying!

Uh, the correct information is NOT there. The wrong information is there. It says that registration is required, which is the incorrect information I'm talking about. The page also allows for registration. The link I supplied is that one page you speak of.

    Told to stop flying!

I think what you meant to say is that US registration is no longer REQUIRED. As far as I know, it is still possible to register. I also know that I could request the return of my $5 registration fee. (I procrastinated and didn't register until just after the free registration period had...

    Told to stop flying!

I could be wrong, but I believe that when I applied for my FAA hobbyist drone registration, I agreed not to fly at night. If that was ever a part of the agreement, it no longer is.

    LUT for P4P D-Log?

I'm a beginner regarding color correction but thank you for creating the LUT, Tomas! I've downloaded your LUT and put it in Filmora. The next time I fly, I'll use D-Log and apply your LUT, thanks!

Video and sound not in sync

I use an Android device and AZ Screen Recorder to record the feed to my Nexus 7 II. I do not have that issue. The audio (when I have it enabled) is in sync with the video.

    Return to Home questions

No, resetting the Home Point will not change the RTH altitude, and the aircraft will always show its current altitude as measured vertically from the take-off point. On a side note, you can't set the RTH altitude at 50 feet. The minimum is 20 meters, or 65 feet.

    Return to Home questions

To further clarify what Meta4 said, the home point is set at the location of the aircraft, not the location of the remote control.

    Just switched to wondershare.

DaVinci Resolve is a very good editing program that is completely free. I have trouble with the format... it is not intuitive to me... but I'm gonna keep at it until I learn how to use it efficiently. It is professional-level software that's highly recommended by many pros. The only limitation...

    first video would love feedback

That's a nice job, FlashBuddy! Can you describe, in generic rather than in photo-editor-specific terms, the nature of the grading that you did?

Check your SD card before flight

After looking at one of my own videos that I downloaded from YouTube, I realize I've been mistaken. The video that's downloaded is 720p, regardless of how much higher the resolution actually is when viewed on YouTube. My apologies! The good news for me is that this means the files retained on...

Check your SD card before flight

Click the 3 horizontal bars at the top left of any YouTube page. In the menu which appears, select "My channel". Near the top middle of the page, select "Video Manager". Click the arrow to the right of the word "Edit" for the video that you'd like to download. In the drop-down menu, select...
