Far out in the Arizona desert. Getting hot here now which caused my iPad to quit the other day. Well, started malfunctioning. Bird was fine.

OK here's what I did - my Apple 2 mini wouldn't tell me of any further updates. Hooked up the ole Samsung Droid S6 and Walla! there's the update. All good now, even flew with the mini. Just a quick flight to 400' and about 400' away. Seems good. More when I take it to Montana for sight flying...

My P3S is experiencing the same issue. Started between flights on same day, has signal loss and RTH every flight since. Returned the RC to DJI and now waiting.

Same here, P3S. Flew great for the first 30 or so days, even over 400'. Between flights on *same* day started the "lost signal RTH". Been same ever since. 1) Sinc'ed RC to Bird several times already, no change. 2) Same with both batteries. 3) Same any area flown in. 4) Deleted and re-installed...

Sorry you didn't score however thanks, you saved me the hassle!

Is there a way? It was the app that wasn't letting me into it to fly. Just had the one big screen crying for an update.
