I used the word "toys" because in the past all my RC airplanes, helicoptors, etc were just that, toys. Now the FAA wants those toys registered as if they were "real" airplanes. I do hope to make money with the P3P I recently bought so yes, that will be a tool just like all the tools I have...

Hi Richard, no apologies needed. The FAA seems to rarely make anything easy and third party websites often misquote things. I just wanted to clear up the muddy waters for people coming behind with information right from the source.

This website has a lot of good study information as well as a good practice test. Many of the questions on my exam were either word for word or very similar to these practice questions.

This thread is very full of misinformation so I'd like to help clear it up. I'm not trying to be a jerk. Wrong there is no "do the license portion" as the knowledge test (written) is the license portion. They don't do the written, oral, and practical like other licenses for this license...
