If I open the map view, it generally shows me pointing in the correct direction, so I honestly cannot buy the "calibrate the compass" solution. The radar show me as being like 180 degrees off sometimes.

I got stuck with 1.8.0+ but it would not go to 1.7 even with the debug in place. I ended up flashing 1.8 with debug in place, and that cleared the +. I am on 1.7 now with modified flight params. Big thanks to everyone!
