I have the p2v+ v3, bone stock and I get the message. I can make it happen on command. It won't do it on initial take off though. But once I'm flying if I full throttle it happens every time.
I freaked the first time I saw it as I was flying over the river.
I have been having the same message appear for me. I haven't upgraded yet, so it's not related to the newest version. I only get the message when I am accelerating at full throttle vertically. I don't know why we would get it but I just try not to accelerate real hard vertically.
Thanks for the info. So seems like there is conflicting info. The manual says one thing and the app tutorial says another. I would think the app tutorial would be correct.
I had an issue with dynamic home point this past weekend and would like some input.
I was trying out doing some moving shots/ vehicle chase of my side by side. I turned on dynamic home point and had an orange circle on the radar on the app. I was driving basically straight from my start point...
I have had mine for about a month and 35-45 flights with no major issues. I have started to get a warning that there is not enough power to return home even when it is flying 20 feet in front of me with 50% battery. It happens on both of my batteries.
That was a big boat to miss! :)
The system they showed in the video if far from streamlined but the idea is there. i was thinking of a commercial application where the quadcopter would need to fly over a construction zone for long periods of time or at set intervals during the day. That way you...
That is pretty cool. I had been contemplating a way to do an autonomous battery swap but someone beat me to the punch. Seams like it always works out that way.
I made my first flight indoor as well. I watched a few videos prior to doing so. This one covers some of the main things.

That guy has quite a few good informational videos. Main thing would be to put it in atti mode. Congrats on your phantom.
Re: Do not fly in the clouds
Same goes for Fog.
I thought I could get some cool video on a foggy morning last week. Not a good idea. Flew around 250' above the fog but when I came back down through the fog she was soaking wet. Let her dry in front a fan for a little while and haven't had any...
I am in construction and would love to use the pix4d, but have been unable to complete a mission yet. It will definitely be a powerful tool for many applications, once the bugs are worked out. I do realize that the app is still in beta.
I have tried both an Android phone and a Google tablet...
I just bought the V2+, the new version, and love it. I already own a hero 4 so I was torn between the one I have and the V2 with the H3-3D. Other weeks of research I went with the simpler setup. I have no regrets.
I love having the video feed on my cell or tablet. And I like how quickly I can...
